This Week’s Workouts: 5/20-5/26

Congratulations to all the Brooklyn Half Marathon finishers. Benny Tam had a PR by more than 2 minutes, and Alfonso PRed too! Also, Emma completed her first half marathon. Great job!

Congrats also goes out to Hideki Kinoshita who ran a 3:47:47 at the Colfax Marathon in Denver, CO, his 49th sub-4:00 state.

Monday. Easy run.

Run the 5-mile loop counter clockwise at conversational pace.

Wednesday. Harlem Hill Repeats.

Warm up on West Drive to 102nd Street Transverse. Run hard up Harlem Hill. Once you reach the top, continue running hard down the other side of the hill until you reach the stoplight. Recover for 2-3 minutes. Run hard from the stoplight, up Harlem Hill, and ending at 102nd Street Transverse. This is one complete set. Do 2 or 3 sets.
