This week’s workouts: 1/24-1/30

Monday 1/24/11:  Steady State Run

As a group, jog warm-up around the lower loop to where the 72nd Street Transverse meets the East Drive.  From here, run either the 6- or the 4- mile loop counterclockwise at comfortable pace.  If you are running the 6-mile loop (Spring Marathon people), pick up the pace as you come around the lower loop.  Jog cool down as a group back to WSY.

Wednesday 1/26/11:  Upper Loop Repeats

As a group, jog warm-up to where the 102nd street transverse meets the West Drive.  Pick up the pace a bit for 2-5 clockwise Upper Loop Repeats!  Jog cool down back to WSY.

*After the workout on Wednesday, we will have our first outing of the new year!  Let’s hang out off the frozen roads of Central Park – at Valhalla (815 9th Avenue, at 54th Street) – for a wide selection of carb-replacing beers. Claudina would like to see everyone, and there is much to celebrate.  Here’s to a great new racing year!
