This week’s workouts: 12/12 – 12/18

Monday 12/12/11: Tempo Run

Option 1). One mile warm-up counterclockwise around the bottom of the park to where the 72nd street transverse meets the East Drive. From here, run 5 miles at half-marathon race pace counterclockwise around the 6-mile loop, but ending at 63rd street on the West Drive. Option 2). Same warm-up as option 1. Run at half-marathon race pace counterclockwise and cut off at the 102nd street transverse, ending at 63rd street on the West Drive.

Wednesday 12/14/11: Easy Run

Run the 6-mile loop easy, clockwise, or cut across at the 102nd street transverse to make it 5 miles. Finish up with 6×100 meter strides at the finish area.
